I own a Minilab X ` Terra Metal detector with two different discs, one for gold detecting and one for general metal detection. I am still incredibly inexperienced in using it and that is why I was interested to see metal detecting lessons being given at Liesurefest. Next year I hope to get a gold detectors licence and do some serious searching for the pretty metal J. Why live in a wonderful location like Australia, travel, and not try to find some gold? There is still plenty of it out there. X-Terra 70 Metal Detector It’s main features are
The X-TERRA 70 is the flagship of the Minelab X-Terra Series and offers the flexibility of three frequency coil options to convert the machine to hunt Relics, Coins and Gold. Key to its outstanding performance is Minelab's proprietary VFLEX technology, which utilizes digital signal processing with highly calibrated analog circuits, creating a new class of single frequency detectors. This approach yields superior sensitivity, stability and improved immunity to electromagnetic interference. For the X-Terra 70 user, this means you'll have the best machine available for your target choices, taking your passion for discovery to the next level. I bought my X - Terra, on EBay for $1,000. after watching many sell way over this price. The cost of all my equipment new would be about $1,500. I bought it to try to find an engagement ring that was lost in my previous garden, I never found it. I hope I find enough coins along the beach or gold, in the goldfields regions, during my next tour to pay for this great detector or I might be looking to re sell it myself. I believe if you are patient and gain experience, gold detecting is worthwhile, especially in Western Australia.
