Twice I have been to Shepparton with Reg, since we have come back to Victoria, I take Reg to a shop that sells fishing gear and I browse the modern furniture next door while he chooses fishing tackle. We are unfamiliar with inland fishing, in fact we knew nothing about, surf angling until a few months back when I bought Reg a fishing line and he caught the fishing bug. Tomorrow looks like being a reasonable day, no rain, it might be just the day to take Reg down to our local Goulburn River and let him try catching some of the local native species such as Murray cod and golden perch that is supposed to be in the local rivers near here. I am thinking I could take my French easel, set up and paint and lol, with luck, catch me my first art student for my new studio. I find on location painting has always been excellent advertising of my art classes, in the past. I began teaching art sometime in my thirties, so allowing for a few years here and there when I was relocating and stopped teaching I have had 25 years’ experience teaching art and always attracted some great students. I would love any advice from readers as to good inland fishing sites not far from Shepparton, Mooroopna and any inland fishing tips that might be useful for Reg J. Thanks heaps. J Well I had best get back to the spring cleaning I am doing if I want time to go on location painting, beside Reg, while he goes fishing, this springtime J. Comments Comments are closed. | _
